Executive leadership in media, communications, and donor engagement for ministries and Christian institutions.
Amplify what’s entrusted.
Inquire About an EngagementEvery ministry holds three things in trust: a mission, the people it serves, and the generosity that sustains it. Entrusted Media Group exists to help you steward and amplify all three.
Entrusted is the consulting practice of Nathan W. Bingham.
Over fourteen years at Ligonier Ministries, Nathan rose to Vice President of Media and, before that, Vice President of Ministry Engagement, leading the teams responsible for donor development, communications, media, and marketing. As executive producer and host, he delivered more than 1,000 episodes of Renewing Your Mind, and helped guide the broadcast from terrestrial radio into a digitally distributed global program. He now brings that experience to a deliberately small number of organizations as a fractional executive: at the leadership table, accountable for outcomes, without the weight of a full-time hire.
A ministry’s media and its donor engagement are one system. The mission is what draws people, and people served well are what sustain the mission. Entrusted leads both sides of that system, and the seam between them, where value is most often lost.
The name comes from a prayer. Several years ago, Nathan was in a serious car accident. Concussed and waiting for the ambulance, he found himself praying the same words again and again for another passenger, an expectant mother: “Lord, I entrust them to You.” Mother and child were safe. The word never left him.
It is what Scripture asks of stewards: that they be found faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2). And it is what every ministry does when it hands someone its mission: it entrusts. The name is the standard Nathan means to be measured by.
Entrusted serves a deliberately small number of organizations at a time, few enough that each has a senior executive’s full attention, never the leftovers of a large roster. When the practice reaches capacity, we close inquiries rather than stretch.
If your organization is weighing its next season of media, communications, and donor-engagement leadership, inquire, and we will discuss whether now is the right time to begin.
Nathan serves as your Chief Media, Communications, or Development Officer on a fractional basis, owning strategy, directing your team and vendors, sitting in leadership meetings, and reporting to your board through a monthly scorecard. The engagement is ongoing and runs to a defined operating rhythm.
For organizations with capable teams who need a seasoned second set of eyes: standing working sessions with your leadership, written counsel before major decisions, and access between sessions. The role is a thinking partner at the executive level.
Media and communications audits. Podcast and broadcast launches. Digital transition roadmaps. Founder and leadership transition communications. Donor-engagement and recurring-giving programs. Fixed scope, fixed fee, board-presentable deliverables.
Engagements are tailored for your organization after an initial conversation.
If it concerns the mission, the audience, or the generosity that sustains them, it is in scope.
For almost three decades, Nathan W. Bingham has been building things. He started with a web design company at fifteen, then worked as an independent social media consultant. That consulting work is how his relationship with Ligonier Ministries began: Ligonier first contracted him from Australia before hiring him full-time. It is the same principle Entrusted is built on. An organization does not need to hire someone into a seat to start working with them.
At Ligonier, Nathan began in digital and online outreach and grew, over fourteen years and progressively senior roles, into executive leadership, ultimately as Vice President of Media and, before that, Vice President of Ministry Engagement. In that role he was responsible for all of the ministry’s donation revenue, directing multi-channel donor development from new-donor acquisition through recurring-giving growth, including a large, well-established monthly sustainer program. He was executive producer and host of more than 1,000 episodes of the Renewing Your Mind podcast, conducted hundreds of interviews with teachers including R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur, Albert Mohler, Sinclair Ferguson, Michael Reeves, and Voddie Baucham, built Ligonier’s communications function from one person into a team of more than forty, and led the ministry’s public communications through the passing of founder R.C. Sproul in 2017.
He chairs the National Religious Broadcasters’ Digital Media Committee, is a regular conference speaker, is the author of Discipleship in a Digital Age, and holds a Bachelor of Theology from the Presbyterian Theological College in Melbourne. Originally from Australia, Nathan lives in Central Florida with his wife and four children.
Entrusted accepts a limited number of engagements each year. If you believe we could be a good fit, we’d be glad to hear from you.
